Went to Green Point on Knox last night. My friends and I looked at the menu, looked at each other, and said: immediate no. It just wasn’t the vibe — we wanted pizza.

So we hopped next door to Pizzana — home of high-end pies and arguably the best pizza in Dallas. After a few rounds sipping-the-sip and talking shit, we asked for the check, bracing ourselves. With a $27 pizza and 4 margaritas each, we were expecting damage.

Then we saw it: $7 margaritas. HALF OFF.

$7, good-ass margs on Knox? Somebody pinch me.

Turns out they’ve got a late-night happy hour every day starting at 9 PM — half off ALL drinks. They also have a weekday happy hour for margs from 3–6 PM, and half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays. They’re open until 11 PM on Fri/Sat, making this an elite pregame move.

Their take on a margarita includes a splash of orange — so yum. I’m usually a ranch water, keep-it-low-acid kind of girl, but I glugged this one. My friend said hers was strong from the first sip. I didn’t notice... must’ve been born with that gene 😏. But judging by how I feel today? Yeah — they mean business.

For food, we went with the Cacio e Pepe pizza with pepperoni, and let me tell you — no photo exists because we demolished it in seconds. I don’t know what kind of cheese they piped on top, but it looked like icing and tasted like a cloud: creamy, melt-in-your-mouth magic.

99% positive I found the pizza I got on their Insta:

Overall, this place is such a good addition to Knox. I love all the fancy spots, but Pizzana strikes the perfect balance — elevated, but still giving late-night pizza joint energy. The happy hours keep it fun, not so serious, and that’s exactly what the area needed.
